Dr. Shah Faisal (邵飞翔) from Pakistan serving as a High-End Foreign Expert at Chengdu University, China.Dr. Shah studied Environmental Microbiology at Lanzhou University China, where he obtained his doctorate in 2020 through Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC). He then worked as a post-doctoral fellow at School of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Chengdu University. His research experience for last six years focus on the 3rdgeneration biofuel from agriculture and many other wastes, through: Isolation, purification, identification, and selection of the robust microbial species from various environmental conditions of AD; Acclimatization of microbial communities in AD reactors supplemented with various additives for biowastes in AD; Biodiesel and bio-oil production through pyrolysis: Application of different pretreatment approaches for enhancement of biofuels from biowastes. The research group have high impact publications in world reputed journals i.e.Chemical engineering Journal,Science of The Total Environment,Chemosphere,Fuel,Desalination,Process Safety and Environmental Protection,Atmospheric Pollution Research, Biotechnology Advances,andSustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments.Dr. Shah also published Book Chapters and as well registered patents in the area of Energy & Environmental Science. He is the reviewer of many top journals, Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety, Fuel,Environmental research, Journal of environmental chemical engineering, Soil & tillage research, Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology, Process Biochemistry, Biomass Conversion and Biorefinery, and Journal of Photochemistry & Photobiology, A: Chemistry.
